After decades of launching academic paper airplanes from ivory tower windows, Tom Schmidt now composes poems from a tree house perched above a bee-loud glade in Vermont. His outlook is much improved. Recent publications include The Aurorean, Pilcrow & Dagger, Northern New England Review, Parody, and The Cresset. His first chapbook, Enough to Drink or Drown, appeared in March 2020.
